Kay Starand 5 Star Recording Inc presents the first annual “The Power ofPossibility”Women’s Conference being held on July 11, 2009, from 9:30am to 5:00pm at Mt. Vernon HS, Mt. VernonNY.
This Conference will provide a unique forum for women to develop new
business strategies and share their formulas for success, as well as
motivate and inspire women to take action in their lives. There will also be a Young Women's Conference for teens 13 - 17 years old. “ThePower of Possibility” Women’s Conference
seeks to empower women, teens to adults, all economic backgrounds and
lifestyles for their self development and to improve the status of
women.
As
a woman, a mother and business woman, I understand just how important
this initiative is to help foster educational and networking
opportunities for women throughout our great community. As women, we
hunger for fresh approaches to tackling professional and personal
challenges, especially in today’s fast-paced world where, thanks to
cell phones and blackberries, people are connected almost anytime,
anywhere. The one-day event will include keynote speakers, Panel discussions, workshops and networking opportunities. Participants will be inspired and challenged in many ways.
By addressing a number of topics including business and personal
finance, health, work-life balance, relationships, entrepreneurship,
credit and more, the conference is certain to appeal to a multitude of New York
women and teens who are all seeking to find new ways to improve upon
their goals. We would like to thank the Mt. Vernon Department of
Education for giving us the opportunity to make this Conference a
reality. We look forward to an outstanding event.
